It’s that time of the week again where our fantastic team are providing another TOP TIP that you can take in to the weekend and try at home.
These days there’s nothing more feminine than a juicy red pout. A hot and spicy red lip is seen as an essential part of every girl’s bag of tricks. Red is classy, bold and so sophisticated but it must be worn correctly to pull it off.
Red lips aren’t always for everyone, but why not give it a try just make sure that you find the one that works for you first. Women with dark skin are advised to select a darker shade of red or even a purple or wine colored tone. Ladies with fair skin should sway towards strong reds rather than those with an orangey tint whilst ladies with a medium skin always look fantastic in a pinky or orangey shade.
The following tip is of course transferable for the wear of and lip color, but again make sure that the color you want to wear is correct for your natural skin tone to achieve he maximum impact.
Juicy Red Pout:
Firstly, to enhance your natural lip shape, perfect the Cupid’s bow of your pout. The simplest way to do so is to take a very sharp lip liner in the same shade as your lipstick and create an “X” at your Cupid’s bow. Continue to take the liner around the rest of your lips. As you apply, smile a little so the lips are tight and the liner goes on easier. Fill in the lips slightly using the side of the liner, then take a lip brush and apply the lipstick for precision. If you smudge your lipstick a little, don’t worry, take a little concealer on a small brush to erase the mistake.
